dana.pronschinske@wfcmac.coopFarmers' Health Cooperative of Wisconsin announces fall meeting schedule MADISON, Wis. (October 9, 2007) – Based on last spring's positive response from farmers across Wisconsin, the Farmers Health Cooperative of Wisconsin (FHCW) will again conduct town hall meetings throughout the state this fall. At the meetings, FHCW partners including the Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives (WFC) and Agri-Services Agency will present information on the growing cooperative and the six benefit plans available to members.  "Despite taking a break from the informative town hall meetings this summer, enrollment in FHCW has remained impressive," said Bill Oemichen, WFC president and CEO. "We're excited to get back out in the communities of Wisconsin through our town hall meetings, to meet potential new co-op members, and to explain our health care plans to them." Meetings are scheduled throughout the state through mid December. A complete list of town hall meetings is also available on the cooperative's website, www.farmershealthcooperative.com. FHCW enrollment spans all age groups, all risk categories and includes individuals and families alike, with family contracts representing more than 65 percent of the enrollment to date. In addition, 6 percent of current FHCW members were previously uninsured, reinforcing the need for FHCW. Wisconsin farmers and agri-businesses do not need to wait until the town hall meetings resume in the fall to receive more information about FHCW.  They can contact the Farmers Health Cooperative of Wisconsin now for more information by calling (800) 539-9370 or visiting www.farmershealthcooperative.com.
